Join our team as Director of Sales - Leisure!

What you’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive leisure revenue across Colombo and Hambantota properties, targeting FITs, OTAs, wholesale, and luxury travel segments.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing leisure partners.
  • Lead contract negotiations with key travel agencies, tour operators, and consortia to enhance market share and drive high-value bookings.
  • Drive team performance by mentoring and developing the Sales – Leisure team, setting clear targets, and fostering a results-driven culture.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences to refine sales tactics.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate standards and effective implementation of sales initiatives.
  • Take responsibility for overall branding, revenue optimization, and sales channel development for the leisure segment.
  • Ensure all sales efforts align with guest expectations, brand values, and revenue goals to maximize long-term growth and guest loyalty.
  • Actively support and execute group-wide leisure sales initiatives.

What We Are Looking For:

  • More than 8 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or a similar luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong network and proven track record in leisure sales, with deep relationships across OTAs, wholesale, and luxury travel segments.
  • Strong understanding of global and Sri Lankan leisure travel trends, market segmentation, and distribution channels.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing leisure sales team.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows, client meetings, and industry events as required.
