E-COMMERCE EXECUTIVE
Nyne Hotels is a pioneer operator of unique luxury boutique hotels and villas in Sri Lanka. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative personnel to join us as an E-Commerce Executive at our head office in Colombo 7. Candidates living in and around Colombo will be given preference. The successful candidate will be responsible for building excellent relationships with guests, colleagues, and associates while embracing and enhancing our renowned "Nyne" service culture.
Job Overview:
The E-commerce Executive is essential in managing and optimizing Nyne Hotels’ online sales and digital presence. This role encompasses various aspects of e-commerce operations, including website functionality, user experience, product listings, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement E-commerce Strategies: Create and execute strategic plans to drive online sales, enhance user experience, and improve conversion rates.
- Manage E-commerce Platforms: Oversee the company’s online stores and third-party marketplaces to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, analyze customer behavior, and evaluate competitors.
- Digital Marketing: Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns to increase traffic and sales, utilizing tools such as SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
- Product Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings and descriptions across all platforms.
- Customer Service: Supervise customer service for online customers, promptly resolving issues and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and logistics, to align e-commerce initiatives with overall business goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales metrics, website analytics, and customer satisfaction to inform strategic decisions.
- Driving Profitability: Drive profitable growth within the online transient market segment and foster consumer demand and loyalty through proprietary and third-party e-channels.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficient in web analytics and capable of analyzing website performance data.
