ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Design, code, and debug software for semiconductor equipment, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Submit systematic and detailed documentation throughout the design and development lifecycle to ensure optimal software design and knowledge transfer.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Perform unit testing, lab testing, and integration testing to guarantee software quality and reliability.
- Design and debug robust multithreaded applications to support complex semiconductor systems.
- Work closely with automation engineers, electrical engineers, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement software solutions that meet customer and business needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing software and processes to boost performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues promptly, offering technical support to internal teams and external customers when required.
- Take ownership of product maturity through continuous monitoring, bug fixes, and revision control.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0 – 1 year of relevant industry experience in software development or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrates high levels of creativity and innovation in designing software solutions.
- High attention to detail, ensuring code quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Moderate project management skills with the ability to manage tasks and timelines.
- Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Working knowledge of C++, C#, and the .NET framework.
- Familiarity with front-end and back-end development principles.
- Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus.
- Adheres to industry-standard coding practices and software development methodologies.
