Front Office Supervisor
At VARU by Atmosphere, North Malé Atoll, Maldives
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Front Office Supervisor to assist the AFOM/FOM to provide leadership, direction, supervision and motivation to all Front Office, Kids club & Recreation team.
Core Attributes:
- Minimum 2 years’ extensive experience in similar role with a five-star resort
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Has knowledge of Hotel Management System (OPERA)
- Ability to adapt and work in a remote location/ island life is essential to make it work!
- Confident Self Motivated Outgoing & friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all tasks in line with Front Office Procedures and Standards.
- Ensure that daily tasks are performed according to Front Office Supervisor checklist provided.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the hotel.
- Ensure that guests’ requests, inquiries and concerns are addressed and completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure to keep yourself updated with the role of FO in Fire, Tsunami, First Aid standards or any other emergency or other procedures through trainings.
- Ensure company procedures are followed, and relevant documentation is completed in relation to all the Areas.
- Always be aware of all guest movements guests arriving, departing and staying inhouse. Assist them whenever it is required.
- Ensure that all FO team members offering to the guests graceful, personalized and caring service at all the time.
- Ensure to use communication tools in place to follow up on all guest arrangements or requests (OPERA traces and Handover)
