Primary Job role
The Intern - Functional Consulting will participate in shadowing/learning the art of ERP implementations, support services & work packages on Finance module ensuring delivery quality within the stipulated time-lines/scope. The individual will need to continuously develop his/her knowledge/skills.
Main duties and responsibilities
Ensure quality on the following areas by operating within the stipulated time-lines, scope, delivery standards whilst working under the supervision of a Senior / Module Lead / Application Support Managers.
- Take part in training programs arranged by Fortude and strive to acquire relevant knowledge in quick time.
- Analyze business processes/requirements to document them in accordance with the requirement documentation templates and get them verified from Seniors.
- Assist Seniors with Level 2 & Level 3 support for Solutions/Applications.
- Shadow Seniors on incident management & problem resolution.
- Escalate critical issues/blockers to Seniors/Leads.
- Provide assistance to Seniors on regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
Technical knowledge
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, One Note etc.)
- Knowledge in DB/SQL
Qualifications
- Reading a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance OR a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Management, IT, or a related field with a professional qualification in Finance (such as CIMA, ACCA)
