Dive Instructor

Position Overview:
Dive Instructor is responsible for teaching scuba diving skills and ensuring the safety of students and certified divers during underwater activities. They play a critical role in promoting marine exploration while adhering to strict safety protocols and environmental conservation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach courses ranging from beginner (e.g., Open Water Diver) to advanced certifications.
- Demonstrate diving techniques, including buoyancy control and emergency procedures.
- Lead guided dives for certified divers, ensuring safety and enjoyment.
- Monitor divers’ safety underwater and on the surface.
- Maintain emergency preparedness and assist in rescue situations if needed.
- Ensure all diving equipment is well-maintained and ready for use.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of diving equipment, ensuring it meets the necessary operational standards.
- Conduct safety checks on diving equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
- Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for students and guests.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same capacity.
- PADI Instructor or higher with 2+ years of experience in the diving industry.
- Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a positive & flexible attitude.
- Candidates must demonstrate a dynamic, positive, and energetic leadership style with excellent communication skills.
