Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Sales Manager to lead business development and sales initiatives in the water supply and wastewater sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in water/wastewater engineering combined with experience in project sales, tendering, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for water supply and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, government agencies, and contractors.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process: lead generation, technical discussions, proposal development, tender submissions, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure technically sound and competitive proposals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects in the water/wastewater sector.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, technical sales pitches, and marketing materials.
  • Support post-sale activities including project handover and customer follow-up.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical/project sales or business development in the water/wastewater sector.
  • Good understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies, pipelines, pumping systems, and project workflows.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and project sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Desirable (but not mandatory):

  • Experience in working with government or donor-funded infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes (tendering, RFPs, BOQs, etc.).
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and local water standards.
