WE ARE HIRING
GRAPHIC DESIGNER (PRE PRESS)
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our sports content newspaper design team. The ideal candidate will work on a shift and roster basis to ensure timely production of high-quality layouts and graphics for our publication. The candidate should be proficient in the Adobe Suite and other graphic design software, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for sports media.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create visually appealing layouts and designs for sports content newspapers.
- Develop and execute designs that align with the publication's branding and guidelines.
- Prepare artwork for print and digital formats, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Proficiently use Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other graphic design tools.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and updates in graphic design software.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in publishing or media.
- Expertise in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficiency in other graphic design tools is an advantage.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Understanding of print media design and pre-press processes.
- Ability to work on a shift and roster basis.
- Strong interest in sports and media will be an advantage.
- Roster and shift-based working hours, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Only male candidates preferred.
