COSTING EXECUTIVE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed cost sheets for imported products, including duties, taxes, customs, and freight charges
- Identify and analyze variances between estimated and actual costs
- Work closely with business and sales teams to support accurate pricing decisions
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and import departments to ensure smooth costing processes
- Monitor exchange rates, tax regulations, and market trends to assess their impact on product profitability
- Prepare regular reports and provide insights for decision-making
- Update costing data in ERP systems accurately and in a timely manner
- Support internal audits and compliance requirements related to costing
REQUIREMENTS
- Part qualification in CIMA / ACCA / CA or a degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Management
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a costing-related role within the import and sales industry
- Strong knowledge of import procedures, customs, taxation, and logistics cost structures
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
