EXECUTIVE - INTERNAL AUDIT
QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Partly qualified in CIMA, CA or ACCA or a degree in finance or accountancy from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in internal audit in a reputed audit firm or in a reputable organization.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent English communication skills & report writing skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Willing to travel out of Colombo when required.
- A strong ability to identify internal control deficiencies/irregularities, analyze the risk implications and recommended risk mitigating plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document internal audit procedures for all business processes in the group.
- Developing policies by evaluating current business practices Inventory verification and reconciliation.
- Carry out internal audit field work within the companies of the group under the supervision of Head of Internal Audit.
- Prepare internal audit reports for completed internal audits with assistance of Head of Internal Audit.
