ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

With 40 years of industry experience, we are the premier spice brand in Sri Lanka, renowned for our quality standards. We manufacture and distribute a wide range of products both locally and internationally. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in the preparation and management of financial records.
- Monitoring and tracking expenses and accounts payable/receivable.
- Verifying invoices and supporting documentation.
- Assisting in bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Entering expenses, allowances, and charges on set dates.
QUALIFICATION:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualification in CIMA or a similar professional accounting body.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Preferably a candidate from the Matara area.
