Quality Assurance Engineer
This role is to monitor manufacturing processes, validate products & components of Injection Molded medical devices.

Eligibility Criteria:
- A Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or Similar Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering in an injection molding & extrusion industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and management skills.
- Strong communication skills in both Sinhala and English languages.
- The ideal candidate we seek should be aged between 30 - 45 with progressive responsibilities in a similar environment with hands-on exposure in Quality Engineering relating to medical devices or injection molding-related industry.
- IT skills and ability to formulate management reports for decision making.
- Preference will be given to those who reside near Bandaragama.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and analyzing specifications & standards of injection molded, extruded products and components.
- Inspecting and testing materials, machinery, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Monitoring manufacturing processes, validate products & components of Injection Molded medical devices.
- Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and product improvements.
- Ensuring workflows, processes, and products comply with set standards.
- Investigating and troubleshooting product/production issues.
- Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
- Determining quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures.
- Monitoring the entire production cycle and reporting on malfunctions.
- Ensure first-time through of all products by facilitating a smooth and uninterrupted production process.
- Facilitate fact-based real-time problem solving by conducting regular meetings with relevant teams to discuss quality-related issues.
