ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
  • Maintain an update general ledger.
  • Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
  • Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT/GST or any other applicable).
  • Reconcile bank statements with company records.
  • Budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
  • Provide financial advice and report results to management.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Internal and external audits.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial projects and administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance, or a related field.
  • At least 05 years of accounting experience of similar capacity.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle and manage the accounting and finance activities of a group of companies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Qualified in ICASL or academic qualification in accountancy.
  • Accounting related computer literacy qualifications are essential.
  • Leadership skills to drive a team for achieving goals.
