ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Maintain an update general ledger.
- Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
- Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, VAT/GST or any other applicable).
- Reconcile bank statements with company records.
- Budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
- Provide financial advice and report results to management.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.
- Internal and external audits.
- Perform ad-hoc financial projects and administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance, or a related field.
- At least 05 years of accounting experience of similar capacity.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle and manage the accounting and finance activities of a group of companies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Qualified in ICASL or academic qualification in accountancy.
- Accounting related computer literacy qualifications are essential.
- Leadership skills to drive a team for achieving goals.
