With continuous growth and expansion on the horizon, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to become an integral part of our dynamic finance team.
We’re Hiring: Assistant Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Manage the company’s daily cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare timely and accurate management reports including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data and present clear summaries of financial status.
- Ensure all accounts are properly reconciled and up to date.
- Adhere to internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.
- Communicate and coordinate with banks and relevant financial institutions.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part or full professional qualifications (CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA) are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Candidates residing in or near Akuressa (Matara District) will be given preference.
