DESIGNATION: ABAP SAP CONSULTANT – ASSISTANT MANAGERIAL LEVEL

ROLE PROFILE
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP programs using ABAP, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (RICEF).
- Collaborate with functional teams across SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.) to gather technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain custom workflows and interface programs using BAPIs, IDOCs, RFCs, and Web Services.
- Implement enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Points.
- Develop and modify SAP SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Interactive Forms.
- Create and optimize CDS Views and AMDPs for SAP HANA-based performance tuning.
- Perform thorough unit testing, debugging, and documentation of developed code.
- Manage transport requests and ensure smooth migration through development and production environments.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for SAP custom developments.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Proficiency in core ABAP components, including ALV reporting, classical reporting, SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and the Data Dictionary.
- Demonstrated experience in Object-Oriented ABAP, implementing enhancements and BADIs, and developing interfaces using BAPI, BDC, RFCs, Web Services, and ODATA.
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, the SAP BTP ABAP platform on the HANA cloud platform, and basic knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
