We are looking for a highly talented IT Support / Network Engineer to join the PickMe Team powering the largest platform using state of the art technology stack for mobility solutions in Sri Lanka.
IT SUPPORT / NETWORK ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage IT Infrastructure – Firewall, Routers, Switches (L2 & L3), Access Points, VPN, etc.
- Windows Server Configuration – AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, etc.
- Linux Server Configuration
- Hypervisor Management– Hyper-V, VMware
- Server and Network Monitoring using tools
- Install and Configure Software, Hardware and Network
- Patch Management
- Troubleshoot Issues and Outages | Support VOIP, CCTV, etc.
- IT Support Function – own and run it – both HQ and Branches
- Liaise with ISPs and other Vendors / Service Providers
- IT OPEX and CAPEX procurements, License Renewals, process ISP & other IT invoices, etc.
- Maintenance of the IT Asset Register and regular physical audits of IT Asset inventory
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven work experience as an IT Support / Network Engineer or similar role with a minimum 3 Years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Analytical and problem-solving skills | Ability to work independently
- The role consists of 70% Technical and 30% non-technical (soft-skills)
- BSc in Systems/ Network Engineering, Information Technology or a related degree
- Experience in following, Certifications will be an added advantage
- Certifications – CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft old tracks (MCP, MCSA, MCSE) or Microsoft new tracks (Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate) and RHCA.
- System Monitoring Tools – Cacti, Nagios or relevant
- Cloud exposure - GCP, AWS and Azure
