Job Duties & Responsibilities;

  • Sales Management: Be responsible to achieve/exceed the set Bancassurance sales/revenue targets of the branch/unit monthly and yearly.
  • Administration: Ensure smooth and economical customer friendly business operation with banks assigned to you with providing the best of services to your customers.
  • Business promotion: Organise and conduct promotional activities planned by Marketing, National Sales and Bancassurance Department.
  • Performance Management: Use performance management tools introduced by the management to enhance your performance.
  • Business Planning: Actively participate in the annual, monthly business plan preparation of the Bancassurance business.
  • Reporting: Submit accurate and timely reports to the management.
  • Learning: Study about insurance products, advantages and the benefits (PAB), new product developments and competitor product analysis.
  • Public relations: Should build and maintain close relationships with opinion/ business leaders, bank staff, government/private entities, and other relevant organisations for business development.
  • Market Intelligence: Study, collect and provide feedback to the supervisor and branch managers on maximising the Bancassurance business of the branch.
  • Product and process development: Study the existing/new bank and insurance products and give suggestions to the superiors for new product development to increase the market share in your Bancassurance operational area.

Qualifications & Prerequisites;

  • Should pass G.C.E. O/L with six subjects including Mathematic & Sinhala / Tamil
  • G.C.E. A/L will be an added advantage
  • Effective communication & negotiation skills
  • Pleasing & outgoing personality
  • Computer literacy
  • 1 – 2 years of work experience in selling of Life insurance will be required
  • Sales experience in Bancassurance will be an added advantage
  • Age between 20-35 years
