PURCHASING OFFICER

Responsibilities

  • Execute procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials to meet operational requirements.
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams to manage procurement budgets and cost controls.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and price lists for internal auditing.
  • Manage the import process, including handling LCs (Letters of Credit), shipping documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
  • Find & develop new suppliers to improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Requirements

  • Minimum 01 year of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on import operations
  • Sounds knowledgeable about supply chain management, business administration, or international trade.
