Intern - Digital Marketing, Branding and Communication (Head office)

Berendina is a group of companies consisting of Berendina Micro Investments Company Limited (BMIC) the first licensed microfinance company (LMFC) regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, under the Microfinance Act No 06 of 2016 and Berendina Development Services (Gte) Limited (BDS) a leading development organization committed towards alleviating poverty among vulnerable and marginalized communities of rural and plantation areas in Sri Lanka. Berendina group operates in 13 districts through a network of 38 branch offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation, editing and scheduling of social media posts across various platforms (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn etc.)
• Assist internal, external communication, social media and marketing campaigns
• Monitor and respond to social media engagement in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare presentations and reports related to the company's marketing branding and communication initiatives

Qualifications and Experiences

• Currently pursuing or graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field
• Graphic design and video editing skills will be an added advantage
• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing and communication trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
