What you need to do

  • Ensure the range offered meets customer needs.
  • Identify range gaps and regularly visit competitor stores/gourmet shops or reach out to other vendors to fill those gaps.
  • Monitor the new item addition process to ensure products get on the shelf as planned. Assist projects related to range improvements.
  • Ensure that the space and adjacency guidelines are adhered to through reviewing store layouts.
  • Ensure all store layouts are updated.
  • Design layouts for new outlets/refs/refurbishments.
  • Assist projects related to space & facilities.
  • Look out for new merchandising methods to facilitate better displays.
  • Ensure that the merchandising guidelines are adhered to.
  • Ensure that category management-related processes are documented and updated.
  • Work on "working capital management" projects.
  • Work on "wastage reduction" projects.

What we are looking for

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Business Administration/Marketing.
  • 6 months to 1 year’s experience in Retail/Consumer Goods industry would be an added advantage.
  • Experience with Java frameworks.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.
