Project Engineer
Dipped Products PLC seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual to be recruited as Project Engineer for its production facilities in the suburbs of Colombo.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing, Fabrication, Installation, and Commissioning of production plants according to the given specs
- Design and prepare of site layout plans for new factory accommodating all the manufacturing buildings, services, effluent, and waste water treatment systems
- Evaluate project proposals and make recommendations
- Evaluating designs, project cost calculation/estimations, control and implementation
- Modifications to the existing glove plants to improve the productivity, quality, less maintenance and reduce maintenance cost
- Installation and commissioning of service & auxiliary assets
Candidate Profile
- B.Sc. (Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering degree from a reputed university or NDT with Equivalent qualification with 5 years of experience
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing field with hands on experience in handling industrial projects
- Knowledge in Civil and Mechanical Drafting
- Familiar with MS Project
- Conversant with AutoCAD/Solid Works
- Team player with high negotiation skills
- Ability to work well in self-directed environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects under dynamic environment
