OFFLINE SALES MANAGER
About Us:
We are a fast-growing digital microfinance company dedicated to providing accessible and responsible financial services to underserved communities in Sri Lanka. Until now, our customer acquisition has been driven primarily through online channels. As part of our next phase of growth, we are launching offline sales operations – and we are looking for a dynamic leader to build this from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a comprehensive offline sales strategy aligned with company goals.
- Build an agent-based sales network from the ground up across multiple regions.
- Recruit, train, and manage regional sales agents, team leads, and operational support staff.
- Identify and establish key partnerships with retail outlets, cooperatives, or local businesses as sales channels.
- Develop and implement tools, reporting structures, and KPIs to monitor and manage performance.
- Work closely with marketing, credit, and product teams to ensure smooth integration with the overall customer journey.
- Travel regularly to oversee field operations, onboard new teams, and ensure market traction.
Requirements:
- Minimum 05 years of experience in sales, business development, or distribution management.
- Proven success in building and managing sales teams or agent networks, preferably in financial services, telecommunications, or FMCG.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Deep understanding of regional market dynamics in Sri Lanka.
- Good in English and Sinhala and/or Tamil is a strong advantage.
