The Company, an ISO Certified Company in Fiji, is a joint venture between two major Hardware Retailers in Fiji and leading public listed manufacture of Cables in Sri Lanka. The Company uses state-of-the-art factory for manufacturing Power Cables to cater the growing demand for domestic & South Pacific markets.

Finance Manager

As the successful candidate, you will be reporting to the General Manager- Finance and responsible for managing the finance division and accounting functions for the business with the objective of ensuring the Company accurately reports its financial position in a timely manner.

Responsibilities;

• Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and Management reports.
• Preparation of budgets, Cash Flow forecast and financial projections.
• Analyzing and interpreting monthly reports and variance reporting.
• Maintaining accounting system, procedure and internal Controls.
• Implementation of Company accounting policies and procedures.
• Preparation of Capital expenditure appraisal and project Management.
• Assets accounting and record keeping.
• Cost control initiatives and activities.
• Liaise with banks, external Auditors, Tax department and other Customers.
• Reviews and appraisals of the soundness and adequacy of systems, procedures and controls.
• Providing support to management and operational units in developing and maintaining a strong control environment.
• Supervise & manage Payroll processing to ensure the accuracy of pay processing.
• Review all Insurance policies on a regular basis to ensure the adequacy of policy cover and lodge & follow up all insurance claims.

The candidate sought for this position will need to demonstrate a proven track record of commercial achievement supported by membership in ICASL, ACCA or equivalent, coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience at senior level with strong IT skills.

Experience in a manufacturing industry will be an added advantage. The applicant must be a computer literate and be familiar with computerized accounting systems.
