TRAINEE ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist in financial data entry, record-keeping, and maintaining financial reports.
  • Support the finance team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with accounts payable/receivable.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
  • Support audits and tax filing preparations.
  • Perform any other finance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Full or part qualifications in ICASL/ CIMA/ ACCA or a Degree in Accountancy from a recognized University.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in finance.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prefer candidates who are proximity to Colombo and the suburbs.
