DATA ANALYTICS - AUDIT & ASSURANCE

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct journal entry testing to assess compliance with accounting policies and audit standards.
• Analyze and identify high-risk or unusual journal entries using data analytics tools such as idea and excel.
• Work closely with audit partners and engagement teams, to provide data-driven insights.
• Automate and optimize audit procedures using AI, machine learning, and other digital tools.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in analytics.
• Experience with financial reconciliations and transaction investigations.
• Strong analytical thinking; proficient in Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) or similar statistical software programs; experience working with large data sets, including quality checking.
