Platypus Link (Pvt) Ltd. is a well established, Australian owned, manufacturing organization, that has been in operation for over 15 years. We are currently located in Galle Road, Ratmalana.
As we are expanding our operations, we look forward to recruit a talented ‘Accountant’ to join our team. A male candidate above 35 Years of Age with a minimum of 3 years in apparel or manufacturing industries is preferred.
Position - Accountant
Job Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
- Preparation and handling customer invoices and debit notes
- Debtors age analysis report and follow up on outstanding
- Overall debtor management system and matching invoices with receipts
Accounts Payable
- Collection of daily supplier invoices and GRNs from warehouse
- Ensuring all supplier payables are recorded and reconciled with creditors SOAs
- Preparation of accounts payable schedule
- Processing of supplier payments for approvals
- Processing s-vat schedules and vouchers to suppliers
Inventory
- Monthly inventory schedule and BS reconciliation
- Quarterly inventory / INFACT report to management
General
- Monthly cash book and bank reconciliation
- Handling of petty cash and local cash purchase advances
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliation
- Implementing of internal control system and procedures
- Handling tax matters such as Vat, SSCL, Payee, CIT etc
- Any ad hoc works as per the demand of management
