ENGINEER
SOLAR POWER PROJECTS

Responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar power projects.
- Design solar PV systems, including layout, electrical schematics, and component selection.
- Oversee project execution from conception to commissioning, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams (electrical, civil, structural).
- Monitor construction, installation, and testing of solar PV systems.
- Resolve technical challenges and provide on-site engineering support.
- Review/preparation of technical specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and grid interconnection requirements.
- Liaise with clients, utilities, government agencies, and third-party consultants.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation for approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years in solar power project design/execution. Experience with rooftop, ground-mounted, or utility scale solar projects preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, inverters, batteries, and grid integration.
- Familiarity with relevant codes (NEC, IEEE, UL).
- Strong problem solving, communication, and project management abilities.
