ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - PROJECTS (Kelaniya)
Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical cable tray pathways and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all installations follow machine technical specs and site requirements.
- Monitor import schedules (ETD/ETA), track vendor progress, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate machine placement with mechanical and electrical layout requirements.
- Liaise with procurement and finance for timely approvals and clearances.
- Review drawings, project charts, and ensure electrical integration with mechanical and civil works.
- Assist in safety audits related to electrical systems.
Requirements
Education:
- NDT specialized in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
- 3 years in Electrical project coordination in industrial setups.
- Proficiency in MS Project.
- Experience in machinery installation and electrical cable management.
- Understanding of import documentation and procurement processes.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of electrical codes & line diagrams, Proficiency in MS Project is a plus.
- The ability to draft in Auto CAD 2D & 3D.
- Working knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.
Other:
- Confident communication with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Should be below 35 years.
