Assistant Manager - Finance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Maintain all process and procedures with regard to the Accounts Payable function and review & implement best practices to improve the effectiveness of the function.
- Performing the day-to-day processing of Accounts Payable in the company ERP in accounting standards and best practices.
- Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities and follow up on collections.
- Ensuring all records are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner.
- Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted on a timely manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field fully or part-qualified in CA, CIMA, or ACCA.
- More than 3 years of experience in similar capacity in an equivalent organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer skills, especially in Excel and familiarity with ERP.
- Good planning and problem-solving skills.
