CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - WATER SUPPLY

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead our water supply project operations, including water tank construction, large-scale pipe laying, and subcontractor management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all construction work related to water supply projects (e.g., water tanks, pipelines, pump stations).
- Coordinate preparation and timely submission of Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) and project documentation.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Department and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Liase with clients, consultants, and other authorized personnel to obtain necessary material and drawing approvals.
- Regularly visit sites to lead subcontractors and ensure progress, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with consultants, clients, and internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations across all project activities.
- Maintain accurate project reporting and progress tracking for senior management and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree OR a diploma in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management with a minimum of 8 years' experience in water supply infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, pipe laying processes, and water tank construction best practices.
- Proficient in project scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and preparation of IPCs.
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to water construction projects.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in subcontractor management for infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
