Cashier cum Accounts Clerk

HelpAge Sri Lanka is an Associate of HelpAge International and is a charitable organization rendering assistance and support to the Senior Citizens in the country through a diversified plan of action to improve their quality of life.

We are looking for an energetic Cashier cum Accounts Clerk possessing basic accounting skills, strong communication skills and ability to handle cash independently.

Possess capability to:

  • Acknowledge, account, record and bank all cash/ cheques/ money order receipts of the organization accurately and timely on a daily basis.
  • Handle/ operate and balance organization petty cash floats on a daily basis.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports on receipts and payments of the organization.
  • Interacting with the customers.

Candidates Profile:

GCE A/L with accounting knowledge. Computer literacy with at least 01 year work experience as a cashier in a computerized environment. Ability to speak English will be an added qualification.

Reward:

A salary package in accordance with charitable organization norms.
