Database Manager
JOB PROFILE
- Take a Management role in implementing state of art technologies to cater efficient and productive technical solutions for centralized DB infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend database technologies and platforms to meet business requirements.
- Implement security and audit requirements as per ISO27001 and PCIDSS security standards and recommendations for the databases including addressing vulnerabilities, implementation of access control, encryption, and auditing to maintain the highest security standards of DBs while adhering to bank’s policies, procedures and standards.
- Analyze, consolidate, performance tuning, capacity planning and optimize databases.
- In-depth analysis of issues in the DB systems and identify root causes and provide resolutions.
APPLICANT'S PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science which recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- Minimum three (03) years of experience in Senior DB Administrator in a Datacenter.
- Certification in Microsoft SQL Server Administration for SQL Server or Certification in other DBMS, such as DB2, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Certification in VMware or Nutanix is advantageous.
- Excellent Project Management Skills and Strong Problem Solving Skills.
