About the Company:

We, Archimaget Pvt. Ltd. Located in Kurunegala, are a long-established furniture & joinery business specialized in producing custom high-end products for Melbourne, Australia’s best builders and developers. You will be working with qualified and skilled designer/draftsman with many years’ experience in the trade.

What we need:

An experienced Joinery draftsperson / Detailer / Project Coordinator who is enthusiastic, hardworking and capable of working autonomously or as part of a team on domestic and commercial custom joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed joinery shop drawings using CabMaster software (Training will be Provide)
  • Interpret architectural and interior design plans and translate them into production-ready drawings
  • Liaise with project managers and factory staff to ensure accurate detailing and smooth production workflow
  • Review and update drawings to accommodate site conditions and client feedback
  • Assist with material take-offs and hardware specification when required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Joinery Drafter
  • Solid understanding of joinery construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive team mindset

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing detailed drawings and shop floor documentation to support the manufacture of high-quality kitchen and cabinet products.
  • Utilizing pallet Cad software to create 2D and 3D shop drawings for joinery
  • Collaborating with designers / builders to interpret specifications and translate them into detailed production drawings for manufacture
  • Ensuring drawings are accurate and clearly communicate manufacturing requirements
  • Providing support to the production team and help resolve issues or queries related to the drawings and manufacturing processes
  • Maintaining up-to-date records and documentation of all design files and drawings
  • Take off and ordering materials associated with projects
  • Working alongside the production scheduler to ensure deadlines are achieved
