Storekeeper (with Accounting Knowledge)
We are looking for a Storekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing hotel inventory and must coordinate closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate stock and financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control inventory (food, beverage)
- Monitor stock levels, order replenishments, and handle goods receiving.
- Maintain detailed stock records and submit regular reports.
- Coordinate daily with the accounts team for stock reconciliations, costing, and audits.
- Ensure accurate documentation of stock movements and wastage.
- Liaise with purchasing, kitchen, and housekeeping teams to meet operational needs.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and audits.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a storekeeper, preferably in the hotel sector.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles related to stock management.
- Experience using inventory management software is an advantage.
- Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
