OVERVIEW:
This is a dual-role position requiring expertise in both therapeutic spa treatments and yoga instruction, ensuring that guests receive a holistic wellness experience. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in massage therapy, body treatments, and yoga practices while demonstrating high levels of customer service and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct daily yoga and meditation classes for guests of all skill levels.
- Provide professional massages and body treatments according to spa guidelines and certification standards.
- Personalize sessions based on guest needs, preferences, and experience levels.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
- Actively promote the spa, wellness programs, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
- Ensure a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere for all participants.
- Maintain yoga equipment and ensure the cleanliness of practice areas.
- Maintain the Spa’s professional image and always act politely and professionally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a luxury resort or hotel setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Previous experience in Maldives resort or in a remote location will be an advantage.
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a positive & flexible attitude.
- Candidates must demonstrate dynamic, positive, and excellent communication skills.
