Manager & Senior Executive – Finance (Internal Audit)
Ritz Clothing, one of a leading name in Sri Lanka’s apparel sector, we value financial integrity, compliance, and innovation. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to join our team to lead or support the internal audit function and strengthen financial governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of internal audit practices and finance-related strategies across the company.
- Maintain strong internal control systems and ensure financial processes align with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management, highlighting key deviations and financial trends.
- Provide insights and recommend improvements to reduce operational costs and improve financial performance.
- Coordinate with head office teams and other departments to ensure accurate reporting and smooth financial operations.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
- Assist in coaching and developing finance team members and contribute to talent retention through skill-building initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and efficiency in audit and finance processes.
Liaison & Coordination:
- Work closely with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams including procurement, manufacturing, and support services to gather timely financial data.
- Maintain communication with financial institutions, regulators, and company leadership for smooth operations.
Scope of Financial Oversight:
- Oversee or assist in managing cost control, cash flow, SG&A expenses, and internal audits.
- Review financial statements, manage capex approvals, and track overheads and profit performance.
- Support treasury functions, optimize cash disbursements, and ensure accurate overseas office financials.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with a recognized professional qualification (CA/CIMA/ACCA).
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in a finance or internal audit role, ideally within manufacturing.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring will be an advantage.
