Accounts Assistant and Bookkeeper

OMEX Solutions Pty Ltd, a prominent and trusted Australian BPO for Accounting and Finance Support Solutions, is seeking skilled and dedicated Accounts Assistants and Bookkeepers for our offshore office based in Gampaha. This is an excellent opportunity for a resident in or around Gampaha to join our team and work with our valued clientele residing in Australia.
Your Role:
- Execute daily operational accounting support proactively for our clients.
- Monitor daily communications with our clientele and answer queries.
- Manage daily bookkeeping, includes, Bank reconciliations, Payroll, Invoicing and other admin tasks.
- Assist Preparing GST (similar to VAT) recording and lodgements. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
Requirements:
- A/L in Commerce.
- Part or full AAT, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting or related field will be an advantage but not a must.
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts assistance and another assistant.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks and MYOB and other software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- MUST reside within 15 km to Gampaha town.
- Remuneration between LKR 60,000-80,000.
