Job Title:

ASSISTANT ENGINEER - IMPLEMENTATION

Job Role:

The job holder will be responsible for overseeing the execution of renewable energy projects, with a focus on design and estimation. Key responsibilities include developing and executing detailed project plans, work schedules, material procurement strategies, and workforce allocation. The role involves monitoring the quality of installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, tracking project progress, and preparing comprehensive reports for the top management. Additionally, the individual will be expected to attend site meetings, foster strong relationships with customers and consultants, and ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects.

Job Requirements:

  • B.Eng (Hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering (NDT, HNDE, NDE, or NVQL 5)
  • At least 1 year of experience in execution of electrical projects
  • Strong understanding of project management to effectively plan, schedule, and manage resources for on-time, on-budget project delivery
  • Ability to manage the scope, timelines, and budget for projects, with attention to minimizing costs while maintaining design integrity
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills
