JOB VACANCY FOR SITE SUPERVISOR POST (OUT OF COLOMBO AREAS) – ECO PLANTATIONS LANKA (PVT) LTD
COMPANY PROFILE:
We are a well established group of companies involved in agriculture and aquaculture, based in the Biyagama area. Our company requires responsible, energetic staff members for the following listed job.
JOB PROFILE:
Post of site supervisor. This is a total field job that requires you to work on site. Those who apply should be team players who are self motivated, who are ready to work hard on the field, eager to learn and to perform under a competitive and demanding atmosphere.
All applicants will go through a 3 months training period where trainees will be given tasks to get firsthand experience on their job.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
THIS IS A FIELD JOB WHICH REQUIRES ON SITE
- Conduct site inspections, manage resources and maintain quality control
- Ability to handle various renovation works sites with technical knowledge
- Review construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Estimate quantities and costs of material, equipment or labour for projects
- Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
- Male – 18 to 40 years
- GCE A/L or higher qualification
- Minimum 06 months Job experience as a site supervisor
- Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to stay in shared quarters with other supervisors
- Ability to perform under pressure and high level of dedication
- Ability to work extended hours
OFFERED FACILITIES AND SALARY:
- Salary during training period (first 1 - 3 months) will be Rs. 45,000
- After completing 1 - 3 month training period, successful trainees will be appointed as supervisors with a salary of Rs. 55,000
- Free food and accommodation will be provided
- Free uniforms will be provided
- 4 holidays per month
- Faster promotions and salary increments will be given based on performance.
