The Role: Resident Manager / General Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated leader to oversee the daily operations of our luxury resort. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional hospitality expertise, a passion for guest experience, and a strong commitment to sustainability. You will deliver unparalleled service, optimize operational efficiency, and drive the resort’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience – Deliver world-class hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay. Respond to inquiries, resolve concerns, and anticipate guest needs warmly and professionally.
- Team Leadership & Staff Development – Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of dedicated professionals. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management while fostering a culture of excellence. Encourage upselling across all departments to enhance revenue.
- Operations Management – Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, security, and administration, ensuring seamless day-to-day functionality.
- Financial Oversight – Manage budgets, control expenses, and drive revenue growth while maintaining high service standards.
- Sustainability Commitment – Uphold and promote our resort’s commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable practices, engaging staff and guests in our environmental initiatives.
- Marketing & Sales Support – Collaborate on marketing and sales strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract discerning travelers.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Villa Manager, Resident Manager, or similar leadership role within a boutique hotel or luxury resort.
- Hospitality education preferred, but a passion for exceptional guest service is essential.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems (Scienter and Citrus preferred).
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a can-do attitude and a talent for innovative problem-solving.
- Enthusiasm for sustainable tourism and luxury hospitality.
