We are a B.O.I company with numerous factories located at Kaduwela, Katunayake and Kelaniya. Currently, we export our Natural and Organic latex mattresses, pillows and latex products around the world including the United States of America, Canada, China, Europe, Australia, and India. Key purpose of the Job

Are you an innovative and talented professional in the latex manufacturing industry who is passionate about technological excellence and innovation? As a member of our team, we are now looking for an outstanding individual to fill the position of Assistant QA Manager at our Kaduwela Manufacturing factory. In order to increase our production to new heights, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the overall quality of the product, factory, and process control activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls and governance, which includes audits. Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality products and the process of production.
• Oversee the inspection of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
• Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to quality procedures and standards.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Establish systems for collecting customer feedback and using it to improve quality.
• Prepare proposals and develop quality, new methods and design related to our products.
• Provide appropriate technical knowledge and work independently towards multiple project objectives within the established timelines.
• Sound knowledge in having a comprehensive understanding of all aspects related to fabrics.
• Innovate the standards of Quality by implementing ISO and TQM.
• Conduct technical training programs to our internal departments.
• Preparation of raw material, packing material and product testing parameters.
• Manage our third-party audits via Control Union.
• Identify and Launch all relevant Corporate Social Responsibility projects.

Education

A relevant bachelor's degree.

Experience

More than 3 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge in Textile Industry will be an added advantage.

• Having interpersonal skills to work in a team and guide with clear instructions.
• Ability to meet deadlines and achieve set targets.
• Excellent computer skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages.
