WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- MEDICAL OFFICERS - MEDICAL & SURGICAL/ PEDIATRIC (WATTALA)
JOB PROFILE
- Responsible for the initial clinical assessment of all patients arriving at the hospital for treatment and initiating appropriate medical management, including emergency care and resuscitation as required.
- Perform routine medical assessments and refer patients to relevant Specialist Consultants when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all clinical activities and procedures carried out for each patient.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with Specialist Consultants, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Adhere to guidelines and regulations enforced by local, institutional and international Health authorities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized University (MBBS or equivalent) with the registration in Sri Lanka Medical Council.
- 1-2 years of work experience as a Medical Officer in a surgical ward/ pediatrics following the internship.
- Ability to perform CPR and BLS. ACLS certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, kindhearted and dedicated to patient care.
- The selected candidate should be able to work on a full time basis.
- Willingness to work in other wards during emergencies, beyond the assigned department.
