PURCHASING OFFICER
Lanka Rubber Merchants has been found in 2020 and it is a subsidiary of LASL Group. Lanka Rubber Merchants (LRM) is a well-established company which is manufacturing Technical Specified Rubber (Block Rubber), Manufacturing rubber-based products & supplying other raw materials to the reputed Tyre companies. Our factory is located in Waharaka, Ruwanwella.
Responsibilities
- Procuring local high-quality and cost-efficient Natural Rubber, Chemicals & other inventory items.
- Ensure Import high quality and price competitive CUP Lumps and other materials to LRM/LRMT/LRMPVT (LRM Group).
- Follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory, and be responsible for approving purchases of materials with the approval of management.
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases of raw materials.
- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment (in critical situations Market fluctuations).
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data, review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options, and provide on time reports.
Candidates profile
- Minimum 02 years experiences in similar field.
- G.C.E A/L passed / professional qualification in supply chain.
- Computer literacy in Ms Office.
- Female Candidate Age below 35 years.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Candidate who lives in close proximity to Nittambuwa, Kirindiwila, Ruwanwella are encouraged to apply.
