INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Industrial Engineering Techniques are adopted in the manufacturing Process.
• Identifying low performing operations, carrying out method studies, identifying areas for improvement, proposing and implementing solutions to improve the efficiency levels of the plant.
• Coordinating with Operation Team / QHSE team and implementing appropriate line layout.
• Observing pre-production (Prototype) samples preparation, coordinating and carrying out pilot studies for new designs to identify the most suitable work methods and possible bottlenecks and taking corrective actions in coordination with respective managers.
• Ensuring the development of the multi-skilled cadre to ensure the availability of the required number of multi-skilled machine operators.
• Implementing LEAN Techniques in operations to improve the productivity.

Qualifications/experience:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from recognized institute.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem structuring and solving skills.
• Ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships with team members to effectively contribute to a highly collaborative working environment.
• Excellent organizing skills and ability prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in Industrial Engineering in manufacturing environment, Lean, six sigma will be added qualification.
