ASSISTANT MANAGER – INTERNAL AUDIT

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, execute & supervise individual engagements in line with the Annual Audit Plan.
• Managing the internal audit team, providing technical assistance, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Write clear and concise audit reports with practical recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Undertake investigations, special audits and assignments requested by the Head of Internal Audit / Senior Management.

Attributes and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of internal/external auditing in bank/financial institution/a reputed audit firm.
• Partly qualified in CA Sri Lanka/ACCA/ in any other recognized accounting body with relevant experience.
• A degree in finance/mathematics would be an added advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge in practical application of SLFRS/IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Age below 45 years.
