Assistant HR Manager

House of Fashions, South Asia’s largest Departmental Store is looking for smart and Dynamic Individuals to fill the below Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing candidates for open positions and helping them prepare their applications
  • Managing employee records and benefits, including payroll
  • Reviewing employee performance regularly to ensure that workers are meeting standards and addressing any issues that arise
  • Preparing reports on employment data, including recruiting statistics and turnover rates
  • Conducting exit interviews with departing employees to learn why they are leaving the company and how the company might improve its retention rate in the future
  • Preparing job descriptions, posting openings, and interviewing candidates for positions within the company
  • Managing Staff on Boarding and agreement preparation / Employees Files
  • Managing Meals Orders of Employees
  • Maintain and update employee records.
  • Implement and Maintain HR Policies and Procedures
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and disciplinary matters
  • Assist in Handling labor cases and having good knowledge in labor law.
  • Actively involved in all Employee welfare activities.

Requirement:

  • Passed G.C.E O/L & A/L
  • Degree or Diploma would in Human Resources Management
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in similar capacity, preferable related retail industry
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Package & HR Software
  • Sound knowledge in Administration and HR best practices
  • Excellent Communication both oral and written in English
  • Leadership and Negotiation Skills
  • Knowledge in Sri Lankan Labor Laws.
