Accounts Reconciliation Assistant
Work From Home | 1 PM - 10 PM (SL Time) Aligned with UK Working Hours
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Reconciliation Assistant to join our dedicated finance team. The ideal candidate should be a logical thinker, a keen learner, and have a strong foundation in accounting practices, delivering accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post daily sales automation entries to the ledger.
- Reconcile partner remittance statements with customer ledgers and perform analytical work.
- Process and allocate payments in the system.
- Generate self-invoicing invoices for relevant partners.
- Initiate and manage credit notes.
- Conduct ad-hoc customer ledger analysis.
- Update cash flow reports for incoming and outgoing payments.
- Manage marketplace customer transactions.
- Assist with bank reconciliations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Sales & Accounts Reconciliation Assistant or similar role with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Partly qualified in ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Microsoft Excel).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience handling reconciliations and financial reporting.
