POSITION:

Ledger Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Record Stock transactions in the ledger system.
• Verifies invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Balances stock verifications and reconciles the statements.
• Generate reports and assist with data analysis.
• Maintains accurate data entry records and filing systems.
• Monitoring and supervising of Receipts and Issues.

Qualifications Required

• Should have passed Local O/Level or higher.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with commonly used software and attending solvable problems.
• Excellent ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
• Some experience in a clerical or computer operating role.
• Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis or other relevant programs.
• Capability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
