Senior Executive- Plant Lean Enterprise

Prym Intimates Lanka (Private) Ltd is a leading world-renowned manufacturer of customized lingerie accessories with manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka, China and Indonesia. The Company has an opportunity for a dynamic and energetic individual to join Prym Intimates Lanka as the Senior Executive - Plant Lean Enterprise to ensure a Lean culture is achieved and sustained within the organization by facilitating process audits and implementing new Lean initiatives whilst providing relevant training, guidance and assistance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the Yield Project with key stakeholders to reduce material waste, improve material use across the value stream, and enhance the company’s profitability, while reporting progress and KPIs to management.
  • Implement process improvement projects related to the BIQ (Built In Quality) pillar.
  • Implement process improvement projects related to the JIT (Just In Time) pillar.
  • Implement process improvement projects related to TPM & QCO (Total Productive Maintenance & Quick Change Over) sub pillars in Operational Stability Pillar.
  • Support other Prym business units (Indonesia/ China/ Vietnam) to achieve and sustain the Lean phase as per Lean Calibration tool in JIT, BIQ Pillars and TPM & QCO Sub pillars.
  • Implement Power BI dashboards in operational departments, as directed by leadership, to digitize KPI boards and improve data accuracy, analysis, and monitoring.
  • Foster a problem-solving culture in the organization through facilitating, coaching and mentoring problem-solving activities such as 5 Whys, 8 Steps & A3s.
  • Facilitate business process mapping in Support Services using Makigami or Swimlane analysis to resolve issues, develop and communicate standardized SOPs, and maintain accurate, organized records.
  • Provide necessary trainings in the above areas of expertise, Coach, mentor & guide the teams for continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Management/ Applied Science (Statistics Preferred)/ Industrial Engineering.
  • 3 to 4 years of work experience (Preferably in manufacturing environment).
  • Minimum MOS (Lean) Blue belt holder.
  • Certified Total Productive Maintenance practitioner.
  • Excellent Proficiency in Power BI, MS Excel and SAP is a must.
  • Knowledge in six sigma/ Mini Tab and Visio would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, presentation and strong communication skills (Especially in written and verbal English).
  • Results oriented, self-motivated and a flexible team player with a curiosity to learn and a can- do- attitude.
