SUPPLY CHAIN EXECUTIVE – FRESH PRODUCE & GROCERIES

Roles and Responsibilities

• Planning delivery timetables
• Ensuring supermarkets have enough stock
• Making sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demand
• Overseeing the forecasting and ordering process
• Monitoring stock levels
• Tracking products through transportation to make sure they arrive at their destination
• Overseeing arrival of deliveries to supermarkets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/supply chain/ logistics or related field required
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
• Previous working experience as a supply chain executive is an added advantage
• Ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and other IT programs
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisions quickly
